Any medicines you may need during your journey should be packed in your carry-on luggage. Liquid medicines are also permitted in carry-on luggage. If your medication requires refrigeration, such as insulin, a cooling pack containing liquid may also be carried in your carry-on luggage.

For more information about carrying liquids, please see our article How much liquids can I bring in my hand luggage?

Whenever possible, medicines should be transported in their original packaging. If you are carrying prescription medicines, it is recommended that you also bring an English-language copy of your prescription.

Please also check the customs regulations of your destination country regarding the import of medicines before you travel.
