Passengers can relax not only in our cafés and restaurants, but also in several dedicated rest areas at Helsinki Airport. In the non-Schengen area (gates 37-55), passengers can unwind in the Maja Living Room or Aukio and at the Schengen area (gates 5-36), passengers can enjoy the Quiet room


Maja Living Room is a space designed for relaxation, quiet reflection, and light exercise before a flight. Facilities include a silent room, a yoga room, wall bars, and comfortable lounge chairs. Maja is suitable for both adults and children. It is located near gate 52.


Aukio offers a relaxing atmosphere inspired by nature, making it an ideal place to unwind or enjoy a snack. Seating areas are equipped with power outlets for charging electronic devices. A variety of restaurants and shops can be found around Aukio offering everything from souvenirs to meals and refreshments. Aukio is located near gate 40.


The Quiet room, located at gate 32, provides a peaceful space to calm down, meditate or pray. The room is open to everyone regardless of religion or personal beliefs. While there, you may also visit The story of Helsinki Airport exhibition next to Quiet room.


There are also quieter seating areas and Quiet pods workspaces available near gates 29 and 12.
